Since 2009, the Choose Clean Water Coalition has harnessed the collective power of more than 320 organizations to advocate for clean rivers and streams in all communities in the Chesapeake Bay region. By coordinating policy, messaging, action, and accountability, the Coalition speaks louder with one voice toward our collective goal—clean water.

Our vision is a world where clean water sustains all people, communities, and wildlife throughout a thriving Chesapeake Bay watershed.

Our Strategic Plan

The Coalition’s 2026-2030 Strategic Plan outlines the roadmap for how the Coalition will address the tough challenges that lie ahead in our work for clean water and our approach and tactics to better reflect the communities that we serve, continue to amplify the voices of clean water champions, and advocate for strong clean water policies and programs.
