Taking Nature Black

ave the date for Wednesday, February 28, 2018 – 8:30 am – 6 pm. That’s when the Audubon Naturalist Society (ANS) and its partners will host the second Taking Nature Black Conference (TNB). This signature one-day event will be held at ANS’s headquarters, 8940 Jones Mill Road, Chevy Chase, MD. For a look back at 2016's historic inaugural TNB Conference, click here.

The Taking Nature Black 2018 conference will feature an all-day Jobs Fair, with networking and professional development components designed to attract college students as well as new and seasoned professionals in environmental fields. Participants will include African American environmental affairs professionals, activists, and business owners, representatives of regional environmental groups, governmental bodies, as well as regional college students and graduates – all from DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
