Coalition Aims to Improve Chesapeake Bay
WASHINGTON (AP) A coalition of 64 groups representing 400,000 people has formed to encourage the U.S. government to act to improve the Chesapeake Bay.
The Chesapeake Bay watershed coalition, made up of environmental and conservation groups, made its debut Wednesday on Capitol Hill.
U.S. Sen. Benjamin L. Cardin, D-Md., was among those who attended the event.
